Terms of Use
These terms describe use of iCarTV and icartv.app, provided by Enes Sakut, an individual developer based in Türkiye. For support or questions, contact [email protected]. They supplement the applicable App Store licence and do not replace mandatory consumer rights.
A player for your own content
iCarTV is a media player. It does not supply television channels, playlists, films, sports broadcasts or a content subscription. You choose the files, playlist addresses and websites to open. Example media and illustrative visuals on the website are demonstrations, not an offer of that content.
Only add, play or share content that you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for permissions relevant to your source, location and use, including public display or redistribution where applicable. A publicly accessible URL does not by itself grant those permissions. Do not use the app to circumvent DRM, access controls or subscription restrictions.
Third-party services
Websites and content providers remain independent services with their own terms, privacy policies, accounts and subscriptions. A browser shortcut or a displayed brand does not imply a partnership or endorsement. Availability can change, and content may be blocked by a provider, region, account requirement, format or device limitation.
Network access and any third-party subscription or data charges are separate from iCarTV. You remain responsible for your service accounts and for reviewing the conditions of sources you use.
Safe use in a vehicle
Use vehicle video features only while safely parked and where permitted by applicable law. Do not watch video or operate distracting controls while driving. A passenger’s presence does not remove restrictions on a driver-visible screen.
The parked confirmation in this version is your acknowledgement. It does not detect the vehicle’s gear, speed or movement, and it is not a promise that playback will stop automatically when movement begins. Follow vehicle and system restrictions and stop playback before driving.
Availability and compatibility
CarPlay functionality depends on the app configuration, iOS version, vehicle and receiver. AirPlay requires a compatible receiver. Browser playback, DRM-protected media and specific formats are not guaranteed on every device. A screenshot or a successful test does not establish universal compatibility or Apple’s approval of an implementation.
Features may change with app, platform or provider updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free playback, continued availability of third-party content, or a particular future support period. Mandatory service and conformity obligations remain unaffected. Keep your original media and backups; iCarTV is not a backup service. Any price, purchase or subscription offered in the future must be disclosed separately before purchase; these terms do not create a paid subscription.
Licence, privacy and your rights
The app is licensed, not sold. Where distributed through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a separate custom licence is presented with the app: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple’s applicable store terms govern store transactions. These terms do not claim a partnership with Apple or other service providers.
The App Privacy Policy at https://icartv.app/en/app-privacy/ explains information handling. This document does not waive rights that applicable consumer or data-protection law makes mandatory, or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.
Ending use and changes
You may stop using iCarTV and delete the app at any time. You are responsible for retaining your original files and managing separate device backups. Discontinuing use does not cancel any independent subscription you hold with a content provider.
Updated terms will be published here with a revised date. Material changes will be explained and any acceptance required by law will be requested. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Mandatory laws and competent courts applicable to you remain available; these terms do not impose an exclusive foreign court or mandatory arbitration.
